Jurek Francuz recounts in January, 2007: Tajchner was a feltcher. Not a doctor, but had medical knowledge, and the people of the community would go to him with any medical questions.

Note: There was an actual doctor in the town named Kilarski who lived in the house of Kuperwaser, next to the Przdecki's. He was not a Jew, but people went to him for every medical problem. Jurek remembers having his tooth pulled by this doctor.
